The good

  • One person can unbox it, fold it flat, and roll it away.
  • Folded flat, it walks at up to 3.8 mph and stays quieter than a conversation.
  • Twelve auto-incline levels are rare on a machine this small.
  • A 7.5 mph top speed covers daily jogging for most people.

The catch

  • The handrails guide your stride. They do not hold your weight.
  • First use requires the PitPat app.
  • The top incline measures less than the marketing.
  • The 15.75 by 41.5 inch belt favors shorter strides.

What it is

The DeerRun Z10 Pro is a folding treadmill for people who do not have room for one. Console raised, it jogs at up to 7.5 mph. Folded flat, it works as a walking pad under a desk or slides under a bed. At its current $369 sale price it is one of the cheapest treadmills that still tilts uphill on its own.

DeerRun's Halloween sale runs September 29 to November 2, with up to $200 off. This review's prices come from that sale.

Small enough to actually hide

Treadmill Review Guru tested the Z10 Pro hands-on in January 2026 and calls it the smallest incline treadmill they have reviewed. It measures 52 inches long by 27 wide, weighs 73 pounds, and folds to 5.63 inches tall. Flat enough for under a bed, light enough for one person to roll on its transport wheels and stand against a wall. TRG's reviewer unboxed and set it up alone.

The frame trades sturdiness for that size. The folding handles keep you centered on the belt but are not built to hold your weight, and the foot rails are about two inches wide. The deck sits four inches off the floor, which makes stepping on and off easy, but you notice the lightness the moment you grip anything.

Desk walking, quietly

Console down, the Z10 Pro caps at 3.8 mph. Walking pace, on purpose. TRG measured 53.7 dB at 3 mph, quieter than a normal conversation, and 64.5 dB at its 7.5 mph top speed. A remote handles speed and incline, so you do not have to crouch to change anything.

The annoyance: the machine ships locked. You have to install the PitPat app and pair over Bluetooth before it does much of anything. PitPat is free, but if you want a treadmill that just turns on, this will irritate you at least once.

The incline is real, just not 12%

Twelve automatic incline levels are rare on a machine this size. TRG timed the deck climbing from flat to top in 14 seconds and called the incline what sets the Z10 Pro apart from other 2-in-1s.

One caveat. DeerRun advertises a 12% auto incline. TRG's measured maximum was 9%. Steep enough to turn a walk into real work, less than the box promises.

Should you buy it?

Buy it if the treadmill has to disappear when you are done. Apartment runners, desk walkers, anyone storing the machine under a bed. The 15.75 by 41.5 inch belt favors shorter strides, so skip it if you are tall, run fast, or lean hard on handrails. The PitPat app is required just to unlock it, and the warranty is one year. If you can live with the app and the short belt, $369 buys a treadmill that inclines and then hides.

What that adds up to

  • Small rooms: it folds to 5.63 inches and rolls on its own wheels. The uprights guide your stride, but they are not for leaning on.
  • Desk walking: 0.6–3.8 mph with the console down, 53.7 dB at walking pace. First use requires pairing with the PitPat app.
  • Incline: 12 levels that adjust smoothly, but the measured maximum is 9%, not the marketed 12%.
